Photography Talkabout 

• Top of the Rockies 2009
• Wrangled by OlBuck 
• Goal: Talk about our point and shoot cameras to maximize our enjoyment of the pictures we take while on the bike. 
• Do you know how to set the timer on your camera? Do you know what the flower button does? How about the lightning bolt, or a dozen other icons that populate the face of your controls on your little gem.  
• Everyone is encouraged to bring their personal P&S camera to the meet. We will look for important features that can make a difference in the quality of the photos you take home after the Rally and beyond. Regardless of brand or model, we will talk about universal features only.  
• Yeah, we know you ate the manual within seconds of opening the box, but if you have it around, it would be good to bring it to Paonia. You might have a bit of time to study it! 
• In addition to the camera, we talk about common problems like batteries, chargers, memory cards, computers, computer software for photos, printers, and where/when to get them.  We will talk about where to get the good stuff on the internet.  
• We will talk about what to do with those beauties after the shutter snaps, how to store and manipulate them, resize, lighten, crop and fix the red eye, then where to show them so your friends and world can enjoy your photos.  
• Lastly, we will address your camera specific issues; problems you are experiencing right now.  
• This program could last a few days, but we will hold it to one hour max. Hopefully there will be input from some of the experts that know what they are talking about!
