The BMW Motorcycle Club of Colorado and Foothills BMW proudly present their 10th annual all-day 100,000 Foot Motorcycle ride for 2009, an event that is unattainable anywhere else in the United States and maybe the world.

The 100,000 Foot Colorado Pass Ride provides scenic mountain vistas, majestic peaks, wide open meadows, valleys, and beautiful streams for which Colorado has attained its international reputation for world class scenery.

The 2009 route begins and ends in the Denver area (at Foothills BMW, 1435 Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO  80214 )  and is approximately 450 to 500 miles over ten mountain passes totaling more than 100,000 feet! Shortcuts will again be available to allow more leisurely-paced riders to select a route that reduces mileage and time requirements (and mountain passes) by as much as 40%.

The ride in 2009 will again follow a loose rally format, although participants will receive directions for the entire route, including the shortcut options, up front at check-in.Route is not given out in advance. Riders will then depart on their own and may be required to pass through check-points throughout the ride. General timing for the entire route will be based on speeds that do not exceed posted speed limits.

Participation includes a commemorative 2009 ride pin, embroidered patch, continental breakfast, catered and dinner, door prizes during or after dinner, and back by popular demand, a commemorative ride tee-shirt!  (When registering online, please select the correct tee-shirt size for each participant.)    Lunch will be on your own, with a list of suggestions included in the registration packet.

Registration fee to join this stellar event is $35.00 per person (not per bike!) and registration fees are non-refundable.

Participants may ride in large or small groups at their own choosing in accordance with their own preference as to speed and riding style. Fuel, food and rest facilities are readily available along the route.

All riders and all brands of motorcycles are welcome.  Club membership not required!
Due to the popularity of this annual ride, the event now regularly sells out.
Please add a seperate entry for each participant when using the online entry so we will have each person's name and shirt size.
