Why join?To maximize the enjoyment of your motorcycling experience by getting to know new people and riding with folks who love to ride and have fun together. Our Club was organized in 1973 and has grown to over 400 members who enjoy the many rides and activities that the club sponsors throughout the year. We are BMW Motorcycle Owners of America Charter Club #66, BMW Riders Association Charter Club #327, and AMA Social Charter #2772. What rides and activities? We have our monthly dinner meeting on the second Monday of the month at Red & Jerry's 1840 W. Oxford Ave, Sheridan, CO. At the meeting we generally have 40 to 80 folks who enjoy one another’s company, a motorcycle related speaker and occasional live music. Also there are weekly breakfast rides, monthly dinner rides, the “Peak to Peak Ride” “Best of Colorado Gypsy Ride”, the “100,000 foot Ride”, the "Colorado Classic 1000 Ride" , and our club’s annual “Top O’ Rockies Rally” in Paonia, Colorado that attracts approximately 1,000 riders from around the country and internationally and features live music on 3 nights, great food and lots more. This event has become one of the premier motorcycle Rally’s in the country. What is required of me if I join?Nothing other than paying your annual dues ($25 single, $35 couple). You can be involved with the club as much or as little as you wish. You are not required to attend a certain number of meetings, rides etc. You do not have to own a BMW motorcycle or any motorcycle at all to join the Club. What do I receive after I pay my dues?A membership card . A club name badge. A subscription to the clubs monthly newsletter In The Wind (Click HERE for a past issue) . Free classified ads in the newsletter. Our annual Ride Book that you can keep in your bike that details the events of the year. In addition to keeping members informed via the newsletter, events that don’t make the deadline are e-mailed to you and posted on the clubs web site.
