Who is interested in taking a trip on a rental 500 cc Royal Enfield thru Ladakh (Indian Himalayans). I am thinking of a 3 week period (riding) between end of July and early September. Small group, 3 or 4 riders, with a truck following us with a "guide" and mechanic. Semi organized, bike rental, all hotel / camp / bike rental reservations made in advance by a company in India, other then that we are on our own. Cost approx. $1900 + airfare (approx $1500) + personal expenses. This is a real adventure, lots of dirt roads, some pretty tough but doable, highest pass @ 18500', be ready for the unexpected.
