How about riding together to Gillette. A few of us are planning to leave on Thursday morning, July 17, at 8:00 A.M. from the Crackerbarrel Restaurant at I-25 and 120th Avenue. It is immediately west of I-25 on the south of 120th east of the RTD lot.

We can meet earlier for breakfast, but due to a 5-6 hour ride, it would be good to go early versus later to miss the worst of the day's heat and have plenty of time to check in and set up camp.

I'd love to, but I'm not leaving until Thursday afternoon about 3:00-3:30 from Boulder. Wanted to ride to:

Gillette

Would like to stop in Medicine Bow for the night or camp a little further north. Get into Gillette Friday morning.

At the meeting Monday night, several others said they would join us on Thursday at 8 at the Crackerbarrel, and Pres. Dick Paige announced another group leaving Wednesday morning at 6:00 AM sharp from the WalMart parking lot at 136th Avenue and I-25. They will meet in the northwest corner of the WalMart lot. WalMart is its own mountain range located at the SW corner of the 136th Ave/I-25 interchange.

I hope to be there and join you all on Thursday...if Pat lets me out of work!!!!

Anybody leaving early Friday morning? That's when I need to go.

This is Judy writing for Pat because he is all too busy. He wants to say he will be leaving after noon on Friday if anyone wants to go up with him. Hopefully he can get out after lunch ... or maybe someone can persuade him to leave AT noon.

If I remember correctly, there will be two stretches of construction on I-25 to Douglas, WY. The first is from the Wyoming line almost to Cheyenne, and the second is midway between Cheyenne and Douglas. Both are about 10 miles of two-way traffic with no passing.
