Two of us (Todd Friedman and I - maybe more) from the Charlotte, NC BMW MOA will be out there touring from Sept 10 to the 21st and was wondering if anyone wanted to meet and ride with us for a day and/or have lunch or dinner. We will rent GS's so we can do gravel or jeep roads.

We will pick up the bikes in Denver and spend time with relatives in Grand Lake through 12th so we won't start touring until the 13th. That day we will leave Grand Lake and go to Glenwood Springs via Yampa/Buford/New Castle. Then through Aspen over Taylor pass, might stay the night in Pitkin or Lake City where we will raise a toast to Alferd Packer. The next several days will be in the Durango area, traveling high passes, visiting ghost towns, taking the steam train and seeing Mesa Verde. Then back via Leadville & Mosquito Pass, turning the bikes in on Sunday the 21st.

If there is interest in riding or lunch/dinner, have people e-mail me and we'll see what can be arranged. We would also like to hear of great rides over high passes or to see ghost towns. We've been on the ghost town web site but if there are some "don't miss" places let me know. Thanks.
