New Ride Scheduled For Glacier National Park 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago

Hello All,
Ken Off and I will be leaving early in the 2nd week of July for Glacier National Park in Northern Montana. We are also planning on visiting Grand Tetons National Park as well as Yellowstone National Park. The ride duration will be approx. one week and will be completed before both the Gillette rally and the Top of the Rockies Rally.
We would welcome other club members to participate with us. Glacier is some fantastic country and will prove to be an amazing experience for sure !!
Accommodations will be inexpensive motel stays on the way and back (we will not be camping). We plan stops for gas, rests as necessary and decent food..
We can vary the start date to attempt to accomodate others schedules. Route input will also be considered should you have some and are participating.
Please feel free to contact either Ken Off or myself via email or by responding to this thread.

Thank you,

Should be a great trip. A friend and I have a similar trip planned for early September. Hopefully it won't be too cold by then as we will be mostly camping.

Well, the ride has been completed and we had a great time, right Ken??
Glacier National Park is great. It doesn't get dark this time of year up there until about 10:00pm so we made it through the park and we could still see...
For those of you planning a trip to yellowstone, you can't go there without visiting the Chico Hot Springs Resort in Prey, MT. It is absolutely fantastic. Be prepared to stay a day or two. The hot pool is around 112 degrees.. And the colder pool is in the high 90's..
The food is great and they have a very reasonable Saturday brunch.. Great place to go and very inexpensive.
If you are planning on going to yellowstone, make sure to plan a full day on your bike to get totally through the park. It is rather slow going even if you do not stop very much.
Email me if you have any questions.
