Hi All 5 Months, 1 Week ago
Greetings all,
I found the club site by visiting Iron But (IBA) site where I found the Colorado Classic 1000 I joined the club today in the hope of comming on this and other rides even though my current bike was built in Japan, just looking for people who like to ride. My ride is an 83 Yamaha Venture and I have returned to riding after 26 years out of the saddle, good to be back.

Thanks,
John

Welcome to the club John.

I would dare say there are quite a few club members who have at least one motorcycle not made in Germany.

John;

Welcome to the club.

Don't let the Yamaha bother you. I had over 100,000 miles on two Yamaha's prior to coming to BMW. The first an XS 750 triple and the second a XS 1100, both full dress with Samsonite luggage systems (remember those). Your Venture will do just fine. My impression of this group (also a new member), is that if you are a "rider" you are welcome. Who knows, we might convert you to BMW's.

Thanks I am looking forward to meeting and riding with you. I have loved BMW cars but I am too tall for the bikes – my knees hit the faring which makes for a long uncomfortable day.

Do you have regular Saturday or Sunday rides?

John

The club has a standing reservation at the Red Rocks Grill in Morrison for Saturday mornings (see our calendar for seasonal times), usually followed by organized and / or impromptu rides.

Anyone can click on the blue days on the mini calendar to the left to see events scheduled for that day. You can go to our full size event calender on the Events pull down menu on the main website.

You can log in and download the annual Ride Book off the bottom item under the Membership pull down menu.

You can post here on the forum to find someone to ride with just about any time.
