BMW Motorcycle Club of Colorado Members,

Due to concerns about the possibility of spam or other inappropriate content on our forum, we are allowing anyone to view our Forum, but only current members can post to our forum at this time.  Please read the RULES accessed from the top blue bar within the Forum. We do require a valid email address to log into our site.  We do not sell or share any of your personal information!  Your password is encrypted, so even our Website Crew can't look it up.

1. ONLINE REGISTRATION - NEW MEMBERSHIP ONLY Please:  If you register online, you will be asked to chose a UserName and Password for logging into our website (and Forum) as part of the process.  Skip to #3.

2. CURRENT MEMBER RENEWAL  and  MAIL-IN REGISTRATION:  We have generated a temporary login ID (UserName) for members who are already in our database, and will email that ID to you when you renew.  If a mail-in registration indicates an email address and a preferred UserName, we will try to honor your request, and will email your ID to you.

The first time you log in, you will need to click on 'Lost Password' in the 'Member Login' block on the upper left side of the website page.  You can follow the instructions in either #3 or #4 below to change your login ID and password to something of your choosing.

• UserNames are not case sensitive, but Passwords are case sensitive.
• Put in the UserName we provide and the Email address we have on file for you.  Then click on 'Send Password.  You will almost immediately receive an email with a new password.  You will need to use that password to log in, exactly as it appears in the email. 
  

3. EDIT YOUR MEMBERSHIP DATABASE PERSONAL INFORMATION:  A Member Menu block will replace the Member Login block on the upper left side of the website frame.  You can click on ‘My Profile’ and click on the gray ‘Edit’ button to make changes to your personal information.  If you change your UserName, Email Address, and / or Password here, it will also change under the Forum profile.

4. EDIT YOUR FORUM PERSONAL INFORMATION:  Then you can click on the 'My Profile' in the top blue bar, click on:

• Edit Your Details' in the side bar to change change your UserName, Email Address, and / or  Password (the same profile information as the membership database),
• ‘My Avatar’ will allow you select or upload a personalized picture to display under your username in any forum posts.  Maximum size is 100 x 100 pixels, but the recommended size is 50 x 50 pixels.
• ‘Look and Layout’ will let you change two settings for how the Forum is displayed for you, and two settings for how you are displayed on the Forum.
• The ‘My Profile Info’ lets you choose to enter information which will display below your avatar in any post you make.  If you don’t want your birthday to appear, fill the blocks with zeros.

5. Please consider making a post in the Member Introductions sub-forum in the club Forum.  Please use the Forum to tell us about your latest ride, about the ride you are planning, or to find others to join for a ride.

6. We expect to add more ‘Members Content’ in the near future, such as an online copy of the 2008 Ride Book, Ride Book Updates, and a rolling collection of monthly ‘In The Wind’ newsletters.
